The right size depends on how tall the wearer is, measured in socks or flat shoes. Each size matches a span of heights. If the person lands between two spans, order the larger size: it ventilates better and is easier to wear through a long event.

Measuring before you order
- Have the wearer stand flat against a wall, with no thick soles.
- Mark the wall at the top of the head.
- Measure from the floor to the mark in centimetres.
- Find the matching span in the chart. Someone at 175 cm lands in the M span, and near the edge you should read the next section.
- When a company or sports team shares the costume, order for the tallest person on the roster.
Right between two sizes
Tight costumes pinch at the shoulders, make it harder to move the arms and warm up faster. A slightly large one remains easy to wear since the inner padding supports the shape. If you cannot decide, email the height and build of the wearer and we will recommend a size before production starts.
Seasons, heat and crowds
Even at a winter carnival, the inside of a mascot costume gets warm, and the head limits what the wearer can see. For summer festivals and trade shows, plan frequent pauses, bring water and assign a guide to walk with the wearer through the crowd. When employees or players take turns
A team that rotates people should size for the tallest member or add a second costume in another size. Both costumes can use the same design and logo, so your brand looks consistent all day.
Event organizer questions
What size is right for someone 175 cm tall?
Use the row of the chart that includes 175 cm. At the boundary between two rows, take the larger size.
Do I add the head to the wearer's height?
The chart covers the person inside. The head makes the finished character taller on stage.
Is an adult suit suitable for a child at a school event?
Not really, because it would be heavy and the child could hardly see. Choose the child size where offered.
Can I switch sizes after placing the order?
Since each costume is made to order, contact us before production starts to adjust the size.
